Oceania Engineering Services is launching Australia’s first locally manufactured IECEx tank vent fan, certified to both electrical and non-electrical standards, at Energy Exchange Australia 2026 in Perth.

The unit on display is a stainless steel TVF-575, manufactured by OES in Australia under licence from Woodcock & Wilson and certified for IECEx Zone 1 hazardous areas. The design is also dual-certified to ATEX.

Certification covers both electrical and non-electrical explosion protection, including Ex h. Non-electrical protection is often the missing piece in hazardous-area equipment.

Woodcock & Wilson’s full range of industrial fans has been independently assessed and certified to IECEx across the complete scope, and the Australian-manufactured TVF-575 is built to that same type-approved design.

For operators and contractors working around hydrocarbons, gas freeing, and confined space ventilation, certification clarity matters.
