Celebrating a successful 2019

As the holiday season approaches, we felt it was important to reflect and celebrate the year that was. 2019 marked our most successful year yet, filled with significant achievements, milestones and the continued evolution of our company.

Here's a selection of some of the highlights...

ISO 9001:2015 Certification

To complement our existing QMS certification for hazardous area equipment manufacture both IECEx and ATEX, we sought to add ISO 9001:2015 certification, successfully achieving this in June.

The scope of our certification covers:

The provision of design, equipment, project management, site surveys, installation, commissioning, service, maintenance and spare parts for heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC&R) projects.

Australasian Oil & Gas Exhibition & Conference (AOG)

OES and our industry partners celebrate a successful AOG 2019

We showcased the integrated HVAC&R service offering provided by Oceania Engineering Services and our industry partners Flamgard, Woodcock & Wilson and Carrier Marine & Offshore. It was great to have the support of our industry partners, with Flamgard's Business Development Director Shuresh Maran and Woodcock & Wilson's Managing Director Ian Crum and Sales Director Scott Harding joining us in Perth for the event.

AOG saw the launch of some exciting products to the Australian oil & gas market as OES unveiled our unique certified hazardous area compressor modification process and W&W launched the world's first portable ventilation fan 3rd party certified to ATEX & IECEx for both electrical and non-electrical standards.

Successful Completion of Woodside Ngujima-Yin FPSO Project in Singapore

We concluded a year-long project for the Woodside NGY FPSO at Keppel Shipyard in Singapore. Working with Woodside and welcoming a new customer in Aibel Singapore, we were pleased to successfully deliver the new Engine Control Room HVAC System using custom built Carrier Marine & Offshore central plant and Flamgard high-integrity damper products.

We also successfully undertook the installation of a new 800 kW Carrier chiller for the LQ.

Pacific International Maritime Exposition, Sydney

OES celebrating success at Pacific 2019

OES and our industry partners promoted the importance of HVAC in the naval and marine sector at the Pacific 2019 exhibition in Sydney.

Joined by Flamgard's Business Development Director Shuresh Maran, we enjoyed the opportunity to connect with the defence industry and showcase our high-integrity integrated HVAC&R service offering.

This presented the opportunity to launch a new fire damper, specifically designed for the marine & naval market. Taking Flamgard's offshore pedigree and adapting this technology for defence applications.

Looking Forward to Continued Success in 2020

As we look forward to 2020, we are excited to continue building on this year's successes, with some exciting announcements to follow.

We don't set out to be the biggest, but we do endeavour to deliver the highest standard of marine & offshore HVAC solutions to our customers.

We recognise the importance of the contributions from our expert staff, sub-contractors and strategic industry partners in delivering our specialist service offering. We would like to thank all of those who are on this journey with us and to wish all a happy and safe 2020.
